Analyst Matt Piscatella studied the statistics and talked about how much time players spend in the new game from Pearl Abyss.
According to available data, people spend an average of more than 20 hours a week on consoles in Crimson Desert. However, some Path of Exile fans play even more:
For the week ending March 28, Crimson Desert ranked #1 on Xbox for hours per week per active user in the US — 20 hours per active user, and #2 on PlayStation — 22 hours, second only to Path of Exile in this metric.
Matt Piscatella noted that Crimson Desert also entered the top 20 in terms of active users per week in the US on both consoles.
Circana works with data from the American market. It is possible that in other regions the numbers of players in Crimson Desert may differ (in either direction).
