Games Workshop has unveiled a new Vanguard Veteran miniature from the "Armageddon" starter set for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game, which was announced during the Adepticon Preview 2026 event.
In the cinematic trailer for the 11th edition, the Blood Angels chaplain was leading a squad of Vanguard Veterans into battle. These warriors descend from the heavens like true Angels of Death to unleash the Emperor's vengeance upon their enemies.
Warhammer 40,000 fans have seen them on gaming tables before, but now they are equipped with the same powerful jump pack as the Assault Intercessors. A golden helmet adorns the miniature's head. The Space Marine is armed with a sword and plasma pistol, and his armor is decorated with additional iconography and a cross (Crux Terminatus) to emphasize his status in the Order.
In addition, it was announced that on April 13, Games Workshop employees will showcase another miniature from the "Armageddon" set, which is likely to be released in June 2026.
