miHoYo (HoYoverse) has presented a teaser for an old-new character in Honkai Star Rail. An alternate version of Blade will appear in the game.

Mortenax Blade will have 5 stars of rarity, his path is Nihility, and he will deal Fire damage. The original Blade has the path of Destruction and Wind damage type).

The gameplay capabilities of the alternate version of Blade have not yet been revealed, but a lore description has been presented:
