For Sony console owners, especially PS5 Pro, the new version of the space RPG has become technically strong. The game received Free Lanes and Terran Armada updates, became smoother and looks better than at launch. Some note that due to the reworked combat and crafting systems, Starfield in 2026 has become a complete game that finally lived up to expectations.
However, not all reviews are positive. Many believe that the core of the game has not changed, and this is the main drawback. They mention outdated solutions, frequent loading screens, and a sense of emptiness when exploring planets. According to the most harsh reviews, the project still lacks engagement: there is a lot of content, but not always depth and enjoyment from it.
As a result, the PS5 version looks like a must-have for fans of space RPGs who haven't played it yet, but it is unlikely to convince old skeptics.
