The game was developed by one person – Antti Lehtinen from Finland, a former military man who worked on the project for 4 years. After the release, it rose to 7th place in the global Steam sales chart, surpassing Slay the Spire 2 and approaching Crimson Desert.
Players call the project "Single Tarkov". The action takes place on the border between Finland and Russia.
