Since 1992, the Mortal Kombat series, created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, has delighted people with memorable fighting games. Over 34 years, it has acquired a large fan base, films, series, collectibles and much more.
Today it became known that the publishing house «Bombora» has started working on a book about this cult franchise. It will be written by Denis Mayorov — editor-in-chief of Disgusting Men, former editor-in-chief of «Kanobu» and creator of monumental analyses of the lore of FromSoftware games.
Thanks to this book, readers will be able to find out how the development of the first parts began, what obstacles the creators went through, how American politicians unsuccessfully tried to ban the game due to the excessive level of cruelty, and how the franchise evolved over 30 years and survived crises.
Unfortunately, the employees of «Bombora» are not yet ready to say exactly when this edition will be released and how much it will be allowed to pre-order.
