Artist David O'Reilly, who participated in the creation of Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V and GTA VI, participated in the Kiwi Talkz podcast and shared his work experience.
He admitted that he is looking forward to the new GTA VI trailer. He really wants to see a more detailed version of the city and characters — he worked in the art team, so he has no "insides" about the plot.
However, David O'Reilly warned players that not all of GTA VI will look like it does in the trailers. This is due to the peculiarities of the production of such promotional videos:
When you make a trailer, you track where the camera will be directed, and this angle is polished to insanity. And everything outside this frame is not polished to that extent. The whole world doesn't look like that. You focus on the areas from the trailer.
The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is expected in November 2026.
