Published videos from Xbox Series X show that consoles are still capable of a lot with proper optimization. In some scenes, the image looks almost photorealistic, especially in views from the interior.
The developers have improved color correction, reworked the rendering of vegetation without noticeable pop-up objects, and worked on lighting. In some moments, the picture resembles a recording from a car camera.
The sound has also been updated: the dynamic range has increased, and the engines sound noticeably better, especially from the cockpit.
In terms of graphics, the game is already being called a contender for "Game of the Year" 2026. How the gameplay will show itself will become clear after the release in May.
