Castlevania: Belmont's Curse looks like one of the most pleasant surprises of 2026. The first gameplay trailer of the game from Evil Empire has appeared.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse was announced several months ago as part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania series, for which Konami is responsible. The release is expected in 2026, so showing the gameplay was only a matter of time.
After the announcement, Evil Empire presented an extended look at the project, where players will play the role of Belmont. The developers also confirmed that the action will unfold in France in 1499, 23 years after the events of Castlevania: Dracula's Curse, released in 1989 on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
