The full version of "YAR: Forgotten Throne" has recently been released.
The developer of the Russian RPG raised the price before the release and forgot that after raising the price of the game, you can't put discounts for 30 days.
As a result, version 1.0 was released without a discount, which "deprived us of some categories in Steam, and cut traffic, the combination of this and many other factors, had a bad effect, and the game quickly faded away."
Now "YAR: Forgotten Throne" brings the developer less per day than his games from five years ago.
The creator of "YAR: Forgotten Throne" heard feedback from the community complaining about the high price tag and decided to lower the price to 499 rubles - he expressed the opinion that players need a pretty wrapper, not gameplay:
I'll have to accept reality, and lower the price of the game to 499, although I think that for the content it offers, the fair price is 1200 rubles, but who knows what I think there. I apologize to those who bought the game earlier and gave a little more, know that you gave the real price, the game was not overvalued, but society is not ready to pay for gameplay, they need a pretty wrapper, for which I do not condemn them, moreover, most likely I myself if I did not know what kind of game it is, I would not give it 800 in appearance and would not understand why. In general, I am a hostage of my decisions, you can not work out the game so much, and do it outside of modern technologies.
