This Proton Experimental update really fixed the bugs in the classic Resident Evil 1 and 2 — they run without problems, the videos also work correctly.
This update should also fix both parts of Dino Crisis (1 and 2), but for each game Proton Experimental will need to be enabled manually:
However, the cutscenes in Dino Crisis 2 still don't work correctly, so Proton GE 10‑34 will be required for them to display correctly. But if you want the cutscenes to work, I recommend running the game with Proton Experimental, then adding it to the registry. After that, close the game and change the Proton layer to GE 10‑34. If you try to add the game to the registry while using GE 10‑34, it will crash.
