007 First Light is one of the main releases of next month. The release is scheduled for May 27, and pre-orders will open a day earlier.
According to Video Games Chronicle, the leak occurred due to an error by the Indonesian age rating organization IGRS. In the process of working on the site, a recording of more than an hour, including the game's ending, was leaked to the network.
Importantly, the leak affected not only 007 First Light. Email addresses of more than a thousand developers associated with projects such as Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Balatro, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and Echoes of Aincrad were revealed. The latter was also affected – IGRS had gameplay footage and plot spoilers that have not yet been published online.
