Marathon has revealed a new cinematic trailer dedicated to the Recon Shell, which specializes in hunting down opponents.
The action takes place on the planet Tau Ceti IV, where even experienced Runners are in danger. The Recon Shell has had problems with efficiency so far, but the new trailer hints at improvements.
The Recon Shell is aimed at players who prefer the hunter style: it can detect enemies through walls with pings, track footprints, and send drones to attack. At the same time, all of this can easily backfire on the player in the match.
The class is considered especially useful in team play, especially in duos. However, effective use requires a high level of skill. According to the description, it is close in danger to the Thief class.
Developers from Bungie are planning further balance tweaks, including changes to the drone's operation.
