While Orks are best known for their physical strength, they are also capable of harnessing psychic energy – and when they do, the results are impressive. Today, the developers of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game presented a new Weirdboy miniature.

The power emanating from their minds is so great that Weirdboys pose a danger to themselves, those around them, and their enemies. Some of them are equipped with crude devices and special staffs that – supposedly – help control their abilities.

When the raw power of "Waaagh!" boils over and the Weirdboy cannot contain the storm raging inside, his head tends to explode along with the heads of everyone nearby. Other Orks are by no means afraid of these outbursts – they find them extremely amusing and follow their psychic brethren into battle, confident that they are in for a great show one way or another.

Nevertheless, despite all their unpredictability, Weirdboys are incredibly powerful, and Imperial forces are rightly afraid of the destruction they sow. The new miniature captures the Weirdboy just before unleashing a psychic discharge: eyes bulging, and lightning striking from the brain into the skull-crowned staff in his hands.

The next miniature from the "Armageddon" set will be shown by Games Workshop staff on April 20, 2026.
