Windrose has been released in Steam's "early access". This is a PvE game about pirate adventures that can be played in single-player or co-op mode:
Explore vast procedurally generated biomes filled with secrets, dungeons and quests. Assemble a crew and take command of your ship. Prevail in brutal naval battles with boarding and enjoy a seamless transition between land and sea.
The peak online of Windrose at the start exceeded 63 thousand players. For comparison, Skull and Bones had a start at the level of 2,615 players (but the Ubisoft game did not immediately appear on PC in Steam, it was first distributed in other services).
The first reviews of Windrose on Steam are "very positive", with a rating of 89%. The developers believe that they will "need one and a half to two years" to exit early access.
