Various "insights" about the new God of War continue to appear on the web.
Earlier there were reports that the protagonist would not be Kratos, but Faye. It seems that the second main character (not playable) may be Tyr — the Scandinavian god of honor and war.
It is also claimed that players will have a companion, described as a "gelatinous cube." In addition, a "talking sword" is mentioned (supposedly Merlin).
Journalists at mp1st also talked about what they "heard." The new God of War may feature elements from several mythologies:
We can confirm that East Asian mythologies will be part of the project. We have heard that elements of Chinese and Japanese mythologies will be present in the new [God of War]. However, game development is an impermanent process, and therefore everything may change; however, we expect that these elements will still remain in the final version of the project
