CDPR Suddenly Updated Three Old Games in the "Witcher" Universe - Updates Available for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and Gwent

The company continues to support its games for many years.

In April 2026, CD Projekt RED surprised players with the release of updates for three games in the "Witcher" universe at once.

Updates received:

• GWENT,
• GWENT: Rogue Mage
• Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

CDPR clarified that these are purely technical updates:

• Unity engine update to version 2022.3.62f1, includes vulnerability fixes
• Fixed specific issues on PC, and made "several additional fixes."
