Various dataminers are exploring Valve games in search of traces of the HLX project (supposedly Half-Life 3). Recently, elements were found in Counter-Strike 2 that may indicate the presence of vehicles.
Thour pointed out the presence of mechanics related to transport — mentions of driver and passenger seats, the possibility of damaging doors, windows, wheels, etc.
Most likely, these things do not directly relate to CS2, since similar traces have been found in other Valve projects, such as Dota 2. For example, these may be remnants of developer experiments.
Tyler McVicker also presented a new edition of the review of various HLX findings. For example, he mentioned hair simulation, as well as the VData system, which can help developers easily add and modify gameplay mechanics.
