Currently, the creators of Garry's Mod are preparing for the release of the new sandbox game s&box. The developers previously granted access to the project to some players, but in mid-April, they received a notification about the product being revoked:
The publisher has revoked this product because the pre-release period or beta testing has ended. Content associated with this product can no longer be used.

This stage has been invaluable for the development of s&box: from day one, we showed the engine to its core audience, and your feedback — about what you like and what "sucks" — has helped make it what it is today.
The creators of s&box announced that out of the 800,000 people who joined the developer pre-access, only 40,000 will be able to retain access, while the rest will have it revoked.
It was assumed that access would be retained by game developers; buyers of cosmetic content and those who played s&box a lot.
However, there are complaints from active modders who have been deprived of access. They are calling on Facepunch to reconsider its decision and return s&box to their Steam library.
