The game has long attracted attention with its style, spectacular combat system, and high-quality graphics, but the new material further fuels interest in the release.
The developers have released a "behind the scenes" video that shows more than just new gameplay footage. The video features fights, boss battles, new locations, story scenes, and one of the most unusual styles – "drunken sword art."
The video showed the game's director. He explained how the team understands wuxia and how this motif influences not only the combat system but also the story. The main character, Soul, has only 66 days to live after a fatal heart wound. He sets out to find salvation but also wants to live the rest of his time to the fullest. This motif drives both the main plot and side quests.
There is another detail – additional activities will not be simple filler. The developers hint that decisions in such missions really affect the main story.
Animations were shown separately. The video contains motion capture fragments that explain why the movements and staging look so good.
