After the release of the major Flashpoint update for Arc Raiders, some players became actively indignant. The thing is that Embark Studios suddenly ended the in-game event-project "to create a weather monitoring system."
Players were offered to collect certain resources and complete several stages — a backpack charm was to be given for the final one. Usually, clear deadlines were set for events, but this project had no timer and not everyone managed to get the desired reward.
Arc Raiders developers heard the complaints and in mid-April sent an in-game letter with compensation:
Hello, Raider! It looks like the weather monitoring system project ended a little unexpectedly, but the good news is that Shani got everything she needed. She is sending a small reward to everyone who helped. Thank you for your help!
Now players can add the "anemometer" backpack charm to their collection, as well as receive premium currency.
