Valorborn was recently released on PC in Steam in "early access" format. The project is positioned as a role-playing sandbox game, the events of which unfold in the world of fantasy-Medieval.
For some, the novelty resembles the game Kenshi. In Valorborn, the player chooses his own path and there is "permadeath":
Villagers follow routines, factions fight for power, dangers roam the lands, and every decision can turn into an opportunity or a disaster. No fake doors. Start small and survive as you can. Steal and sell stolen goods. Live off the wilderness and trade skins for coins. Take contracts and hunt the dangers that lurk on the roads, in ruins and settlements. Tilt faction conflicts in your favor, turn chaos into profit, or stay out of politics and forge your own path. Your choices shape your personality, reputation, and future.
The first reviews of Valorborn on Steam are "mixed": players complain about technical problems, some call it "incredibly raw".
