Photographer Kira Mitenkova has once again turned her gaze to the universe of the role-playing action game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", full of dangerous adventures, tragic characters, and terrifying monsters.
She published pictures in which cosplayers Sofia "liakael" Korb and Denis Nechiporenko appeared as Iris von Everec and Olgierd von Everec from the "Hearts of Stone" expansion.
Iris is a talented Redanian artist and Olgierd's wife, whose life turned into an endless nightmare due to her husband's deal with Gaunter O'Dimm. She died of a "broken heart" – deep sadness and loneliness, locked in her bedroom.
After death, her spirit remained attached to the estate and the "Painted World" – a reality created from memories and fears.
Olgierd is a Redanian nobleman, raubritter, mercenary, and chieftain of the Redanian Free Company. To regain his family fortune and the right to marry Iris, he made a contract with the Master Mirror.
Olgierd gained immortality and wealth, but lost the ability to feel. His heart literally "turned to stone", turning his love for Iris into indifference and longing.
