Creators of the WoW Stormforge fan server announced its closure - Blizzard strikes again

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the project. In connection with receiving a Cease & Desist demand, as well as subsequent negotiations with legal representatives of Blizzard Entertainment, we have agreed to completely cease all operations, development and distribution of content related to World of Warcraft.

We understand that this is not easy news. Throughout all these years, we have strived to provide the best possible gaming experience and the highest quality. We have put years of hard work, dedication and passion into making Stormforge what it is today, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved and the community we have managed to form. We thank each of you who have been a part of this journey. Whether you spent one day or many years with us, you helped shape Stormforge and we are sincerely grateful to you for that.
