New gameplay mechanics have appeared and old ones have been improved.
The tactical shooter OPERATOR has been developed since 2023 in an "early access" format. In April, update V09 was introduced for it, which includes gameplay improvements for weapons and the movement system.
Fighters will be able to climb over obstacles; now running is not endless ("stamina" has appeared) and the "weight" of equipment is taken into account — the higher it is, the slower the player will move and the faster his stamina reserve will be depleted.
There are also "penalties" for moving on "inclines". Climbing or descending significantly slows down the character — this also applies to stairs and any other inclined surfaces.
OPERATOR has added the ability to customize armor plates, the interface and various animations have been improved. 4 weapon models have appeared: M9 Beretta and M9A4, as well as MCX LVAW and KAC KS1:
Shortly after the release of update V09, OPERATOR's online presence increased significantly — the game set an absolute record of 3,439 simultaneous users.
The previous record of almost 800 players was recorded at the beginning of this year.
