The developers will test the new mechanics and balance tweaks before the full release.
The creators of the strategy game Broken Arrow are preparing to test the update. They have announced the content and changes in advance.
The "Conquest" mode will be introduced with several thresholds for receiving flags at 500, 1000, and 1500 respectively:
Points are awarded or deducted depending on the control of zones, with a fixed rate of point accrual for each captured zone. Points for destruction remain unchanged, and point compensation for purchasing units between phases has been removed.
An "anti-overkill" system will appear — it will be possible to heal infantry and replenish their ammunition:
Infantry transports now have a supply box inside as an ability that can be used to heal and replenish infantry ammunition. Ground units now have individual respawn timers. Infantry receives maximum panic upon destruction of the transport. Damage for automatic weapons in the unit card now shows the amount of damage per second.
Reconnaissance units will receive the "Sneaking" ability — it will allow some units to increase their stealth value at the cost of movement speed.
Air defense will be weakened: the developers will reduce the firing range and reduce damage to avoid "one-shots". The radar bonus for low-flying targets will be reduced. The vertical launch animation will be sped up.
