In April, the developers are celebrating the eighth anniversary of God of War (2018). Santa Monica Studio published a message to the community on social media:
Eight years ago, we released God of War (2018). At the time, inside the studio it was known simply as "INT8" — our eighth game. Eight years later, that detail has taken on new meaning as we celebrate everything this journey has become. Thank you for being with us on this adventure!
Various rumors about the new God of War continue to appear online. If the information is true, then the next part of the franchise will be dedicated not to the adventures of Kratos, but to Faye. The game will supposedly feature several mythologies at once.
