Recently, the creator of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Mafia spoke out again on social media. This time, Daniel Vavra decided to share his impressions of the new game from Sad Cat Studios.
The creator highly praised the Belarusian Replaced:
Speaking as someone who grew up on Sinclair and Amiga: I love high-quality pixel games. Especially when they have something more than just retro nostalgia. And Replaced is exactly that kind of case! I finished it this morning. I am thrilled. The visuals are simply magnificent! I highly recommend it! Great job, Sad Cat Studios! For me, this is the best game so far this year.
Daniel Vavra said that he had always wanted to create something similar to what he saw in Another World. He also offered a bit of criticism of Replaced: he agreed that the character movements could be faster, and the jumps more precise.
