This is Project Ants, which the developers themselves describe as a "3D metroidvania." The player controls an anthropomorphic ant with a saber, and the gameplay is inspired by Hollow Knight and the Ninja Gaiden series.
The creators said that world exploration is inspired by Hollow Knight, while the combat system draws from Ninja Gaiden. All of this is built into a metroidvania structure, where new abilities grant access to previously unreachable areas and locations.
The first gameplay trailer has been presented. The game from Ant Team studio does not yet have a release date. According to preliminary estimates, the release of the single-player project may take place no earlier than 2027. The game will be released only on PC.
