The Russian version of the board game Ironwood has received pricing: preparing for battle in the "Steel Thicket"

It is time to find out how much the board game duel Ironwood and its expansion will cost in Russia, when the project is expected to arrive at the warehouse, and what gifts pre-order customers will receive.

Very soon, the publisher GaGa Games will open pre-orders for the Russian version of Ironwood ("Steel Thicket") — an asymmetric duel game about the eternal confrontation between two irreconcilable factions.

While users decide whether to side with the steelbearers or the treewalkers, the team has decided to explain the pricing situation. During the pre-order period, the base game will be available for 3,490 rubles. Afterwards — for 4,990 rubles.

The intriguing secret expansion, which can be ordered before other gamers, will cost 1,990 rubles during pre-order. Afterwards — 2,490 rubles. There will also be an option to purchase a bundle containing the base game and the expansion for 4,990 rubles.

Everyone who pre-orders the game will receive six foil cards with alternative artwork: three for the steelbearers and three for the treewalkers. Tentatively, this project will arrive at GaGa Games in November 2026.

Ironwood features a card-driven engine, an area control system, clear rules, and factions with different objectives, victory conditions, advantages, and battle strategies.

In addition, there is a well-designed solo mode, which allows players not only to fight against either faction, but also to do so at different difficulty levels (it takes up nearly half of the entire rulebook).
