The entrepreneurs decided to use distinctive elements from the GTA franchise. However, in the end, the plans had to change.
Take-Two, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto games, is known for its legal department, which protects the company's intellectual property. Nevertheless, from time to time various entrepreneurs appear who use GTA brands and imagery to attract the attention of the community.
Recently, players noticed a restaurant in the United Kingdom with the distinctive name "Cluckin' Bell" and a logo that was clearly taken from games in the GTA series.
Now photos from the scene have appeared online — the logo has already been dismantled, and the name is beginning to be replaced.
Users found a document according to which the establishment changed its name from The Cluckin Bell to The Cluckin Bite. It is assumed that Take-Two's lawyers reacted quickly enough after publications about the existence of such a business began appearing online.
There is a theory that the owners understood everything and decided to make publicity for themselves this way — the establishment caught the attention of gamers, and the "real" Cluckin' Bell from GTA quickly began to be discussed online.
