Ubisoft held a presentation of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake and revealed some details about the project. The author of the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits examined the footage shown by the developers and prepared a comparison video.
ElAnalistaDeBits recreates similar gameplay situations in the original Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and compares locations. In the new version of the game, some buildings are different.
The character costumes in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced look more detailed, and the sea has also been improved.
The developers emphasize that the changes affected not only the visuals, but also the gameplay — on land and at sea:
Combat has become more dynamic — parries and takedowns now play the main role; stealth and parkour have been improved, in particular, it has become easier to escape from enemies and perform quick kills. Many upgrades are available for the "Jackdaw" that will help it withstand battles against mighty enemy ships; the improved naval combat system includes alternative firing modes. The remake also features general gameplay improvements that fix shortcomings of the original version noted by players.
