Paradox Interactive presented the Peace For Our Time expansion for the grand strategy game Hearts of Iron IV in April. This country pack is included in the Expansion Pass 2 seasonal pass.

The developers invite players to imagine an alternative path for the development of Czechoslovakia's history:

The betrayal of Czechoslovakia by its allies in Munich and the subsequent annexation of the country by Germany became a key moment that brought Europe closer to the outbreak of the Second World War. But imagine a world in which the \"White Lion of Prague\" was ready to meet German aggression, showing courage in the face of oppression. Play out this scenario in Peace for Our Time

The expansion includes new graphic materials, such as 3D images of Prague Castle and Bojnice Castle, and several national focus paths, including democratic, communist, and monarchist ones — you will be able to \"restore the Kingdom of Bohemia or hand power over to a military dictatorship\".

The expansion \"Focus Pack - Hearts of Iron IV: Peace For Our Time\" received \"mixed\" reviews on Steam, with a 42% rating. Dissatisfied players believe that this DLC offers little content — focuses for only one country; and express the opinion that, in essence, they are being sold a \"modification\". This DLC was indeed created in collaboration with modders.

The next Hearts of Iron IV expansion from Expansion Pass 2 will be Thunder at our Gates — its release is expected in the period from April to June 2026. This DLC will include focuses for Australia, Siam, and Indonesia.
