This year, users in Russia will be able to take the side of the Ironclads and the Woodwalkers in the tabletop game Ironwood, battle for territories, hire golems, build forges, and summon the mighty Forest Guardian.
Publisher GaGa Games has opened pre-orders for the tabletop game Ironwood — a tense asymmetrical duel from Mindclash Games that will immerse participants in the confrontation between the Ironclads and the Woodwalkers for dominance over the Steel Thicket.
Right now, it can be purchased for 3490 rubles, the special expansion — for 1990 rubles, and a bundle with the base game and the expansion — for 4990 rubles. Everyone who places a pre-order for this tabletop game will receive six foil cards with alternative artwork.
Ironwood does not have tomes of rules — there is only momentum, an elegant card engine, unusual area control, and two highly asymmetrical factions with different victory conditions, capabilities, and advantages.
The asymmetry does not end with the mechanics. It is also reflected in the artwork design, as well as in the metal and wooden components. To win, you need to fulfill your faction's victory conditions before your opponent does. The leader of the Woodwalkers must find three ancient totems and deliver them to the outer forests to summon a powerful protector.
And the commander of the Ironclads must build three enormous forges that will help him forge a countless army of warriors and crush the enemy's resistance. Delivery of Ironwood to the warehouse is expected in November 2026.
