According to the leak, Microsoft is preparing a new package in conjunction with Discord. Discord Nitro subscribers will get access to a more basic version of Game Pass as an add-on to their subscription. This is another step towards expanding the service's distribution and attracting a new audience.
The new version, according to the leak, will offer access to more than 50 games from the Game Pass library. Stardew Valley, Grounded, and Fallout 4 are mentioned in the list. This suggests that Microsoft will not limit itself to its own projects and will add games from third-party partners.
The Starter Edition will also offer 10 hours per month of cloud gaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming and the ability to earn Xbox Rewards points while playing. Even the basic plan will provide significant bonuses to those who do not need the full Ultimate package.
It seems Microsoft is making Game Pass more flexible.
