Despite months until launch, the project has become a bestseller on Steam. At the time of publication, the Ubisoft game ranked seventh in the sales chart, indicating high interest in the updated version of Black Flag. Players were not deterred by the price either – the base version costs $59.99.
The game also reached high sales positions in the PlayStation Store: 4th place in the UK, 10th place in the USA, 7th place in France, and 3rd place in Germany.
