Warhammer Age of Sigmar Community Artists Paint Miniatures from the "City of Ash" Set
Especially for those considering purchasing the "City of Ash" spearhead for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game, community artists have painted miniatures of the Skaven Clanrats, Deathmaster Krixit, Ranger-Colonel Yorvan Kriel, Freeguild Gallants, and more.
The Warhammer community artists decided to delight people with their works today. They painted some miniatures from the "City of Ash" spearhead, intended for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game.
Adrian Phillips painted Deathmaster Krixit and a Skaven Clanrat, achieving a pleasing warpstone glow effect and creating cloaks that would fit the Plague clans perfectly.
Nyara also worked on Deathmaster Krixit. She gave him almost regal dark blue and purple tones with bright flashes of lightning. Joshua Hill painted a horde of Skaven along with Ranger-Colonel Yorvan Kriel and a Runesmith Mallus.
Vincent Venturella and Vincent Notley gave the Skaven Clanrats multi-colored cloaks. Will Salmon showed two Freeguild Grenadiers. They look majestic in a yellow and purple color scheme that helps the chainmail truly stand out (but it seems they are not in the spearhead).
Fra painted various Skaven. He used a very pleasing directional lighting effect from the warpstone on the bases to give the miniatures a truly sinister look.
Matt Crowther painted a good portion of the box, including several Freeguild Gallants and terrain elements. In some places, the "City of Ash" spearhead can now be pre-ordered for $220 (16,540 rubles).
