Shovel Knight creators have completed development of the new game Mina the Hollower

Yacht Club Games has finished the game and is now preparing for its release.

In late April, Yacht Club Games, known to players for the Shovel Knight franchise, reminded everyone of their existence. They announced that they had completed their new project, which was announced four years ago.

Mina the Hollower has officially gone gold — in honor of this, the developers published art and addressed the community:

The game is complete and has already been sent for certification to platform holders. We will soon determine the final release date and will share it with you as soon as we can. Thank you for staying with us. We want you to play it as soon as possible!

Mina the Hollower will center on Mina, a Hollower, who embarks on a dangerous quest to rid the island of a curse:

Dig your way directly under traps and monsters, send enemies into oblivion with your whip, and replenish your arsenal with various weapons and accessories. Explore every pixel of the vast world and enjoy magnificent graphics, refined gameplay, monstrous bosses, and infectious music. You will meet many eccentric characters, visit diverse and unusual places with their secrets, and rid the island of all-consuming darkness.
