According to PCF, the deal aims to restore the global publishing division. Cooldown Games is a young company founded by industry veterans previously associated with Gearbox Publishing. Both teams have already worked together on Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, which sold over a million copies.

The new structure will allow the studio not only to support its own projects but also to publish games from third-party developers. The first results are expected quickly – releases are planned for 2026–2027.

Company head Sebastian Wojciechowski noted that restoring publishing competencies is a key stage of development. Experienced specialists will join the team to help with global game launches and open new revenue streams.

The decision fits into the company's strategy after restructuring. Returning to self-publishing games is seen as a way to gain more control over projects and increase profits.

While specific games have not yet been revealed, given the teams' experience, higher-level projects are expected.
