In April, Techland returned to Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land and introduced Hotfix 1.6.3, which includes technical improvements and a new feature.

A fast travel system has been added to the game – players can now use it from a cleared safe zone or hub. To quickly travel to another location, players need to interact with a special Castor Woods map.

A toggle has been added to the survival settings to activate flashlight charge consumption and hunger scale. The setting is now off by default and can be enabled in the menu.

Some other changes:

  • Fixed an issue where actions in Beast Modes did not always deal damage to enemies in New Game+ mode
  • Fixed an issue where the player could not pick up a quest item if the consumable inventory was full of certain items.
  • Fixed the display of results in the leaderboard
  • Fixed a bug where an area with a very low threat level could restore after sleeping.
