CoolAndGoodGames studio has unveiled a new trailer for Starminer. It's a sandbox space simulator where players are invited to design and build their own interstellar fleet to embark on a journey, extract minerals, and profit from this venture.
The developers expanded the "business game" formula with aliens. They can punish players for greed if they haven't built strong enough defenses against unwanted guests:
The more resources you mine, the more you build, and the greedier you become, the higher your thermal signature rises. When it reaches a critical level, aliens will notice you. Build ships and defense systems and protect your fleet at all costs!

CoolAndGoodGames clarified that they plan to release the game in early access format:
We are a small but dedicated team, and your feedback is our most valuable resource. We have spent years refining physically based logistics and modular shipbuilding, and now we need you in the pilot's seat. Early access will allow us to balance the economy, fine-tune mechanics, and expand the technology tree together with the community.
