Some virtual photographers use official or custom photo modes to create impressive screenshots in video games. As it turns out, one such specialist could have participated in the creation of marketing materials for Arc Raiders.
Recently, a photographer known as PxlKaii shared on social media about a failed collaboration with the Embark Studios team. He also shoots videos with ThatARCGuy and other users, and the Arc Raiders developers noticed his work.
The studio discussed with PxlKaii the possibility of shooting a trailer for a new map from the Riven Tides update, but ultimately abandoned the idea:
I want to tell you something: about a month ago, I was supposed to shoot a trailer for a new map for ARC Raiders, but their plans changed. Still glad that Embark showed interest in me. We were so close.
PxlKaii does not know what exactly changed in the Arc Raiders developers' plans.
The Riven Tides update for Arc Raiders is now available. The game features a new map, "Turbulent Streams," a new enemy, "Turbine," and items to help survive falls from great heights. An in-game event has also started, where participants can earn rewards.
