In April of this year, the creators of Silicone Heart launched a Kickstarter campaign. Now they have shared their first successes:
Well, we exhaled. Kickstarter turned out to be more stressful than expected. A lot of uncertainty, a lot of twitching, constant "will the pace be enough". But in the end - we did it. Now we have ~37% [of the target amount], the pace is holding. And, to be honest, it already feels like something alive, not just a page on the internet.
According to the developers, in a week, Silicone Heart received about 2100+ wishlists from Kickstarter, which were distributed by region as follows:
- Russian Federation - 455
- USA - 423
- Kazakhstan - 195
- Germany - 100
- Japan – 82
Now the developers are "thinking" about what will grow from this next. Their plans include launching a full-fledged playtest on Steam; currently, more than 8 thousand people have signed up:
Now it's business as usual: we're refining some things, redoing others, tying up loose ends, finishing the sound design. In short, we're making sure you have something to play.
You can add Silicone Heart to your Steam wishlist and sign up for the playtest via this link, and the Kickstarter campaign is available here.
