Erik Khachatryan and Hayk Khachatryan launched a new promotional event on PC via Steam in April. The free giveaway of Aeonic has begun.

The developers position Aeonic as a "very simple text adventure":

Essentially, there is no full-fledged gameplay. You simply move between slides representing different historical eras. Each slide presents text and an illustration. Most of these slides offer you two choices that lead to different consequences for the era. Some decisions can lead to different endings. That's all. It's more of an interactive book than a game.

Aeonic was released in 2024 but did not become a big hit — according to SteamDB data, the peak online was at 1 player. However, this year, after the promotion started, the peak reached 299 users. Reviews for the game are "mostly negative" — many dislike that AI tools were used for development, with dissatisfied players calling the game "neural sludge."

The Aeonic page on Steam is available at the following link. The giveaway will run until April 30, 2026. The promotion also applies to the Russian segment of the Valve store.
