At the end of April, Repterra by Chute Apps studio was released on PC on Steam. It is a real-time strategy game where players are invited to take control of a colony and fight hordes of dinosaurs.

According to the plot of Repterra, people discovered a place where dinosaurs still lived. They began to be dragged around the world, and in captivity, they became embittered. Subsequently, escaped individuals multiplied and began to devastate the planet:

In 1963, explorers discovered an uncharted island in the Indian Ocean, hidden by a magnetic anomaly, inhabited by dinosaurs. Poachers sold them to the wealthy as exotic pets. In captivity, dinosaurs became aggressive, and escapes were covered up by the elite. By the 1990s, escaped dinosaurs had multiplied, devastated the planet, destroying cities and infrastructure, turning vast territories into wastelands, and collapsing global supply chains.

Now humanity has to reclaim the lost lands. As part of a special squad, players' task is to control dinosaurs and ensure the restoration of civilization.

The initial reviews for Repterra on Steam are positive. The game is currently in early access, and the developers from Chute Apps expect it to remain in this status for approximately six to nine months. The current version of the project includes a couple of factions and "seven levels with high replayability."
