
After 29 years, Krush, Kill'n'Destroy strategies will receive updates with improvements for modern PCs
Krush Kill 'N Destroy Xtreme and KKND 2: Krossfire will perform better and receive full online multiplayer.
In 2026, publisher Ziggurat Interactive announced the return to classic games from the “Krush, Kill’n’Destroy” franchise.
A major update is being prepared for the strategies Krush Kill ‘N Destroy Xtreme and Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire. Ziggurat Interactive clarified that current owners of the games will receive this update for free.
Among the announced improvements:
- Online multiplayer support on modern systems, initially via Steam, later GOG Galaxy and cross-play between Steam and GOG.
- Improved mod support, including an update to the KKND2 map editor for compatibility with 64-bit operating systems.
- Support for additional resolutions up to 4K.
- Developers will restore original HD sound effects.
- New launchers will appear for configuring game parameters.
- Various bugs and critical errors leading to crashes will be fixed.
