Steam is giving away a horror game with VHS aesthetics about eerie events in a small town
Players now have the opportunity to add Overcome Your Fears Caretaker to their collection.
In early May, markuwaaaaa launched a new promotion on PC in Steam. The free giveaway of Overcome Your Fears – Caretaker has begun.
The project is positioned as a psychological atmospheric horror that immerses the player in a world of the unknown. The story centers on 19-year-old Steve Jackson, who took on a part-time job house-sitting for friends while they were on vacation:
What begins as a simple favor quickly turns into a chilling experience as unsettling events unfold in the quiet town. Steve doesn't yet know that these days will reveal dark secrets, and his decisions will forever change the course of events.
The developer highlights VHS aesthetics, interactive dialogues with NPCs, and "voice interaction with the game" among the project's features.
