The developers of Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor — a single-player shooter in the spirit of Vampire Survivors — have introduced the premium Heavy Duty Expansion and free update 1.1 for the game.

The DLC adds a new playable class, the "Demolisher," to DRG Survivor. It controls an armed industrial machine, the "Skalldozer," which allows crushing swarms under its wheels, leaving only a trail of destruction. The developers noted that the "Demolisher" brings 11 new weapons to Hoxxes, available to other classes through the tag system.

In addition, the "Egg Hunt" mission has been added to the game, during which players must extract alien eggs and deliver them to a cargo pod, as well as the "Glacial Strata" biome:

Slide across slick ice for speed at the cost of movement control, activate deadly icicle traps by smashing ice crystals, and encounter new cryo-charged enemies adapted to the cold. Because the progression requirements are not increased with the new biome, you have more freedom in tackling challenges.

With the release of update 1.1, an "endless mode" became available in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. The first stages will be relatively easy and fast, and starting from the 11th stage, the game's difficulty changes and will "significantly increase." Each subsequent stage will test build-making skills and decision-making.
