A demo of a Polish car mechanic simulator, who saves on repairs and uses improvised means, has been released on Steam
The protagonist has to somehow fix cars and not infuriate customers.
Little Dog Games studio presented a demo version of the specific car mechanic simulator Cheap Car Repair on PC in Steam. The prologue “Cheap Car Repair: Welcome to Nowhere” was also announced.
Players are invited to get acquainted with the beginning of the story of the village mechanic Janusz. He will have to manage his own car repair shop and “get by”:
Welcome to the middle of nowhere! To a village where dogs bark, crows turn back, and the local priest is called Zorro. And in the midst of all this mess, all in white (and slightly smeared with grease) — there you stand... Take on the role of a mechanic who runs his own workshop in one of the typical Polish villages of the 90s.
In Cheap Car Repair, the car mechanic uses the most unexpected improvised means for budget repairs. For example, the trailer showed that a valve, under certain circumstances, can be a good replacement for a steering wheel, and some problems can simply be painted over.
The demo version page is available at the following link. You can add the game Cheap Car Repair to your Steam wishlist here, and a separate page for the prologue “Cheap Car Repair: Welcome to Nowhere” is available here. The release is scheduled for May 28, 2026.
