Halo 2 and 3 Remakes Will Be Released Even if Halo: Campaign Evolved Fails - Insider
It is assumed that even poor sales will not change future plans for the Halo franchise.
It is already known that Halo Studios is currently developing a remake of Halo: Campaign Evolved. It seems that the studio intends to update subsequent parts of the franchise as well.
Recently, the author of the YouTube channel Rebs Gaming shared what he heard from a source:
One of my new sources sent me proof that Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes are indeed in development.
Rebs Gaming also spoke with another source, who previously shared an unreleased clip of Halo: Campaign Evolved with him. He also confirmed the development of Halo 2 and 3 remakes.
Both sources clarified that the two remakes are currently in "early stages" of development. According to the insider, they are planned for release regardless of the results of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Rebs Gaming's video is available at the following link.
The developers position Halo: Campaign Evolved as a remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign with HD graphics, improved controls, online co-op for up to 4 players, 3 new missions, and an expanded arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and enemies.
